Photo-epilation

Epilstar is a pulsed light device (ipl) for permanent epilation which offers durable results in a short time and operates in total safety.

Thanks to the principle of selective photothermolysis, Epilstar effectively strikes the imperfection. The wavelength between 625 nm and 950 nm is ideal because it is selectively absorbed by melanin and results in significant and lasting effects in epilation by shortening treatment times.

Photo-epilation

Pulsed light is strongly recommended as a treatment in female and masculine hirsutism for permanent epilation. The light generated by the device overheats the hairs leaving the surrounding skin unaltered. Through the hair length the heat is transported to the hair follicle, where it affects the bulb responsible for hair regrowth by deactivating it.

Gentle on Skin

The selectivity that guarantees safety. The thermal energy emitted by the pulsed light affects only hairs – real “concentrates” of melanin – without causing any harm to the surrounding tissues.

A complete cycle of 6/8 epilating treatments with Epilstar IPL 09 eliminates almost all the hairs on the treated area.
